I stand, in this night devoid of light.
A blackness deep, to make me heavy.
Fear grips, to raise a finger and touch,
let it flow through, this dark ooze fill me.
The choice I made, to come here bare,
abandon the hallowed halls I walked,
and find me lost, to find me again,
longing for the echo of God’s voice
As immaterial walls squeeze me in,
my soul forced out, here I am naked,
the brink of the abyss eyes me through,
Shall I jump, shed it all, fulfill the purpose.
Light the feet, and blood rushes through,
the vast sea that envelopes me, cold,
we were meant to be alone, didn’t we?
But then these eyes of yours, what for?
Flashes glow, a beam to stop the fall.
I raise up, to follow the shining gaze,
like onyx embedded on night’s gown.
was not expecting you here, stranger.
I marvel at them, darker than darkness,
a pulsar radiating, my blessed guide,
whether to hell or heaven, all I know,
is the fiery fire they shine through me.
It’s good to see you here, my Dark friend.
this is hauntingly elusive and beautiful
